our story
Pawsy Pals started in grad school — with two friends, a lot of academic pressure, and two cats who made all of it more bearable.
Vivian and Kay met navigating the chaos of higher education and bonded over the one thing that reliably made the days better: their pets. Pinot, Vivian's cat, with his very particular judging-you-from-across-the-room stare. And Sanner, Kay's cat, who has appointed herself Quality Inspector of everything in the household.
They both wanted a phone case that actually looked like their cat. Not a generic pet print. Not a photo on plastic. A real illustration — something that captured the specific personality only a pet owner would recognize.
They couldn't find it. So they built it.
Pawsy Pals is a small studio dedicated to one thing: turning your pet's photo into a custom watercolor illustration on something you actually use every day. Every portrait is hand-illustrated to order, no templates, no filters, and no two alike.

what we make
Every Pawsy Pals product starts with a photo of your actual pet. From there, our illustrators create a custom watercolor portrait — soft brushstrokes, careful attention to your pet's markings and expression, and a style that feels warm and handmade.
You can keep it classic with a Portrait Only — just your pet, beautifully illustrated in watercolor. Or pick a Fun Action scene that fits their personality: boba, pizza, coffee, reading, or ice cream. Because your pet has a whole character, and your phone case should show it.
Available on iPhone and Samsung phone cases and phone grips. Every illustration ships within 7–10 business days of photo approval.
why we are different
Why Pawsy Pals
Every portrait is hand-illustrated from your pet's actual photo — not generated by AI, not pulled from a template, not a filter applied to a stock image. Our illustrators study the specific markings, the tilt of the ear, the expression that only the people who love them would recognize.
Watercolor is the style we chose because it's warm, personal, and impossible to mass-produce. Every brushstroke is placed by hand. Every illustration is made once — for your pet, for your order, for keeps.
pinot
Chief Snuggling Officer
Vivian's cat and the original inspiration for Pawsy Pals. Pinot specializes in sitting directly on whatever you're trying to work on and giving you a look that suggests you should probably just pet him instead.
sanner
Chief Quality Inspector
Kay's cat and the studio's unofficial product tester. Sanner reviews every phone case prototype for structural integrity (by sitting on it), warmth (also by sitting on it), and overall aesthetic (jury's still out).
Your phone is already in your hand a hundred times a day. It might as well carry your pet's story.
